The U.S. immigration system is one of the most complex administrative processes in the world. Fees change without notice. Deadlines are easy to miss. Eligibility rules are filled with exceptions. And the cost of a single mistake — a late filing, an underpaid fee, a missed window — can have consequences that last years.
VisaCalc started as a simple fee calculator built out of frustration with the lack of reliable, free, and up-to-date tools for everyday immigrants. The USCIS fee schedule changed dramatically in April 2025, and many online calculators were still showing outdated numbers. People were submitting applications with the wrong fees and getting them rejected.
We built VisaCalc to fix that — and to expand it into a full suite of immigration reference tools that anyone can use, for free, without creating an account or entering personal information.
